Andreea Ionescu-Berechet is a Philosofy Doctor of The National University of Theatre and Film "I.L. Caragiale" in Bucharest, and associate lecturer at the Communication and Public Relations College of the National University for Political Studies and Administration (SNSPA).
I live the joy of teaching Storytelling – Narrative structure, a course stemming from narratology, as well as one course on Publicity in new media. Before my PhD studies I worked in broadcast as a creative & content director for the MediaPro trust. I have stridden to leverage my entire practitioner and academic experiences while building my courses. The Publicity in the new media course is a constant challenge, reflecting an ever-moving and evolving domain. The ecosystem of the new media comprises many channels, each having its own credibility, and the most effective communication occurs when the message is transmitted congruently on the channels of the ecosystem. Puzzle-like stories emerge built sequentially and transmitted on multiple voices. The audience receives a fragmented history that is embellished with its own touch and often retransmitted in a personalized manner. The story lives on.
