Mihai Gavrilescu is a PhD candidate and teaches History of Communication, Mass media and Society, and Ethics in Communication at the College of Communication and Public Relations, National University of Political Studies and Public Administration (NUPSPA). Mihai is currently Member and Researcher of the Center for Research in Communication (CRC), NUPSPA. Mihai’s PhD thesis aims to investigate the parasocial relationships between audiences and political entities populating the media landscape. His research interests orbit around media artifacts and their ability of reimagining the reality. Mihai has recently published a paper on the prevalence of the key words associated with the COVID-19 pandemic on the agenda building process.
