Monica Bîră is currently a associate professor at SNSPA, Romania teaching social media listening methods and techniques and seeking to develop a framework for building the most appropriate predictive models for crisis communication in social media. Monica Bîră has been working closely with agencies and companies developing media monitoring and social media listening tools and techniques, thus being one of the first researchers in Romania looking to bridge academic research with private sector in the field of social media listening. Since 2008, Monica Bîră published in areas of monitoring image in online environments and communication in creative industries.
