Valeriu Frunzaru is Associate Professor at the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration from Bucharest. He has an extensive teaching and research experience in the fields of employment, education, and social values (especially materialistic values). He has been a member of numerous research groups that investigated topics related to access and equity in higher education and students’ expectancies with respect to higher education and labour market. Valeriu has examined the reshaping of the role of the university as a higher education institution continuously connected to the labour market and community needs. Recently, he has extended his research interest to the study of the impact of social network websites on students.
